The FastAmps Alpha7 is a compact, reliable and smart 7.4kW untethered EV charger, designed for residential properties and workplace car parks. Its socketed design allows customers to use their own Type 2 charging cable, providing a neat and flexible charging solution.

Delivering up to 7.4kW (32A) on a single-phase supply, the Alpha7 is ideal for convenient overnight or daytime charging. The charger can be controlled directly from the unit or through the FastAmps App, allowing users to schedule charging and monitor charging activity in real time.

The Alpha7 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet connectivity, while Wi-Fi and Ethernet are optional depending on the installation. Bluetooth connectivity allows the charger to operate without requiring a permanent network connection.

For households with solar generation, Dynamic Solar Charging helps make better use of available solar energy. The Alpha7 also incorporates built-in PEN fault detection and integrated 30mA AC / 6mA DC earth leakage protection, helping provide a straightforward installation without the need for additional earth fault protection equipment within the charger.

With its compact 270 × 140 × 110mm enclosure, IP54 weather resistance and robust UV-, impact- and corrosion-resistant construction, the Alpha7 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
